सोरेन को संघीय सरकार ने रांची में भूमि की कथित अवैध बिक्री और धोका धडी से संबंधित मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग की जांच के तहत बुलाया है।
स्थिति की जानकारी रखने वाले लोगों के अनुसार, ईडी ने सोमवार को झारखंड के मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन को अपना छठा नोटिस भेजा है, जिसमें अनुरोध किया गया कि वह कथित धोखाधड़ी वाली बिक्री से जुड़ी मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग जांच के संबंध रांची में जमीन की खरीद में पूछताछ के लिए संघीय एजेंसी आयेंगे।
एक अधिकारी के मुताबिक, “मुख्यमंत्री मंगलवार को रांची में एजेंसी के जोनल कार्यालय में उपस्थित होने की उम्मीद है।”
पांचवें नोटिस के खिलाफ सोरेन की दलील को झारखंड हाई कोर्ट ने खारिज कर दिया था. वह इसे सबसे पहले सुप्रीम कोर्ट में लेकर आये. परंतु सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने उन्हें उच्च न्यायालय के समक्ष अपनी याचिका दायर करने का निर्देश दिया था।
सत्ता पर काबिज झारखंड मुक्ति मोर्चा के कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष सोरेन ने अभी तक हाई कोर्ट के फैसले के खिलाफ याचिका दायर नहीं की है.
